“MARUVAN”

This is not merely a documentary…
It is the call of the desert’s soul. 🌾

“Maruvan” is a journey that takes you deep into the sacred Orans of Jaisalmer — landscapes where nature, tradition, and faith have coexisted for centuries.

What are Orans?
Why is this land not just terrain, but a symbol of devotion and collective identity?
And why does a defining question now stand before us — development versus conservation?

Illuminating the government’s plans for the expansion of renewable energy in the state, amplifying the voices of local residents opposing the implementation of such projects on Oran lands, and presenting the technical perspectives of institutions engaged in renewable energy production in the desert region — “Maruvan” offers a balanced and thought-provoking narrative.
